Waited for an hour and a half. I ordered fried rice with soup. The vegetables and tofu in the rice are half raw and the chicken in the soup is so dry and hard. The ironic thing is that the fried rice is piled up with raw vegetables with so little rice. Will never order from this restaurant again!

UNBELIEVABLE. I would refrain from ordering unless you want to wait 2+ hours only for cold food to arrive. Don't make the same mistake I did, order elsewhere.

Poor customer service when they mess up your order and refuse to fix it...I used to like this place until due to an ESL language issue they misunderstood me and made my takeout order for wonton noodle soup without wontons and with the wrong broth. I called to have them remedy this and since After pouring the soup over the noodles and vegetables I realized the issue. They refused to make me a new order and only will give me the missing items (wontons and new broth) and want me to fish out all the other ingredients from the wrong soup and put it into it. Seriously. She said I should have noticed it was wrong before pouring soup on it. I won't be going back here given it's not how I expect to be treated especially due to their mistake and when I am a regular customer. Just got the missing items and they sent half order of soup. I called to say in missing half my soup and they said that is all we are willing to give you. I don't even want to eat it since they were so rude they probably spit in it or did worse.

I order their pad thai often and it's always pretty good, but this time I asked for it to be spicy and they nailed it!!! Very happy. Prompt delivery too.

The food is a bit pricey but totally worth it.. Every selection I have made thus far was delicious! compliments to the chef! =)

Amazing pad thai. always.

Everyone enjoyed their food. Nice portions, quick delivery.

Ordered Tofu and veggies in garlic sauce lunch special. The food had no sauce, it was like having boiled veggies and tofu with rice.

Crispy pork was inedible. Extremely chewy, non-meat parts of the animal were used and then fried to oblivion.

Aroy Dee is surprisingly delicious -- blander than most good Thai food, but you live in the Financial District. You'll take what you can get.

The food isn't bad, but the serving sizes are small.

wouldn't call it thai food. supermarket seasoning made soup and lowsily made pad thai. will not order again

I have tried Thai food from other restaurants and was definitely not impressed. However, I decided to give this restaurant a try. I have tried various dishes (Pumpkin Curry Chicken, Thai BBQ Chicken, Rambutan Duck Curry, Heaven Chicken Lunch special, curry puffs) and they have been very flavorful and well worth the money and their delivery people are very nice and timely. I will definitely have them on my favorites list.

Last time. Food was cold. Pad this was a clump of hard noodles. Summer rolls were old and stale. I've ordered from this place often and it's just gone down hill. Where can one get great thai food downtown?

I've been waiting forever to have good Thai in the neighborhood. The green papaya salad was fresh and spicy and the pad see ew black bean sauce was fantastic (not gummy or too salty). This place will go into regular takeout rotation, I can tell already!

eh, it's just another mediocre thai place.
Posted 4 years ago by Hwi C.
Granted, the only two things I have gotten are red and green curry, they are very delicious dishes and I am always happy with it. I do not have too much to compare it to, but the curry tastes great here!

Mediocre

Meh. I'm a peanut sauce junkie and theirs was way oily. Also, dish was described as being broccoli and mixed veggies in peanut sauce. Well it was the broccoli stems...maybe 1 top of the tree but they were barely sauteed and hard and chewy - not good. So many other tasty Thai options. Won't order from here again.

Great beef pad see ew -- and a very welcome addition to Financial District food offerings.

Food was pretty bland, and rather greasy. There is so much good Thai food in the city, no reason to order from here again.

The Tom Kah Kai soup is fantastic. And the Thai pumpkin chicken curry is a staple in my order every time. Delivery is always on time and accurate.

Delivery was fast but the food was a little greasy. Adequate.

Very salty food

disappointment!! took forever (I asked the delivery guy if they were busy and he said they were very slow...obviously!!) food was mediocre at best. will never order from them again

Chicken Green Curry Lunch Special - wouldn't get it, even if it's free.

Not good, at all. how do you screw up pad thai? spring rolls were flavorless, pad thai was bland. will not order again.

Best Thai in FiDi.

I cant even give these ppl a nice review bcs you know what, these restautrant owners need to stop playing games and wasting consumers time/money. If they are going to sell food and feed ppl, it needs to be taken seriously. The noodles were OK but the meat, gross, chewy. Flavorful but chewy and that's not worth spending any money on. I never knew Japanese use cilantro?!! the soup was not good, spicey.

Not like when they first opened. Food is all badly prepared and its seems to be inconsistent the last 2 times I ordered. Soup with uncooked noodles, extremely oily pad thai and flavorless fried rice. I will no longer go here - sorry.

the meat of the ribs here tasted soar and black last time,,

Best thai in the area! Tom Kha soup has no peppers and chicken is good quality. Dumplings were good, as was the pineapple chicken fried rice. Delivery was much faster than estimate, but I live on John Street so I'm a bad example. You should probably question my judgement because I am such a lazy...

Do not get their panang curry! It was very very salty and had no flavor.

Great!! And FAST!

i am a big fan to Tom Yum soup. No matter the soup itself or soup with noodles (i also choose flat noodle, i love that) Both are tasty, not too spicy, with fresh mushroom. The only comment is that the shrimps are not fresh to provide an even better taste.

I am very picky about my Thai, but the area this restaurant is in (Financial District) has a very limited selection of good restaurants. In an area with more than one or two Thai choices, this might be a 3.5 star place, but in FiDi, it's a 4. I enjoyed their Pad Thai, which was a tad sweet (the way I think it should be -- I'm not a fan of salty or spicy Pad Thai), and their Massaman curry was very tasty as well. Their Basil fried rice was fairly plain on the other hand. I wouldn't order that again, but I will definitely be ordering the Pad Thai and Massaman curry again. One caveat for people ordering the mock duck on their dishes: There are maybe 4-5 chunks in the entire dish.

Best Thai in the neighborhood. Massaman Curry is particularly good.

it's spicy like authentic thai, but the noodles were not done right and tasted like plastic

Great food and fast delivery! Always delivery within the time period shown on the order confirmation and food taste is wonderful! Highly Recommend!!

Used to be decent but has gone downhill. Nothing special and they are a little stingy with the prices for what you get (greasy, not particularly flavorful noodles). Basil fried rice sucks too.

Pad Thai lunch special--fresh, delish & filling Tom Tai(?) soup--very tasty, made me want the larger size lychee drink--good

These guys are dependably great food, fast delivery, and a genuine gift to the financial district. The only problem with them, is that they take their last online order around 9pm, which is a shame, i wish there was some decent food left in this neighborhood for people who come home from work a bit later. But from an unassuming shop on John St, they are really turning out some great thai food.

My new favorite thai place in the area because they have the best take-out food I've tried but they need to pay more attention to delivery instructions because they delivered the food ASAP without paying attention to the specified delivery time that was requested for one hour later.

Finally a good thai restaurant in FIDI! Delicious!

The food was below average and three members of my family got an upset stomach. My wife threw up four times. Be careful with these guys.

Absolutely delicious... try the pad siew, green curry and veg dumplings delicious has become a real favourite of ours

My co worker and I ordered the Thai fried rice and the Basil Fried Rice. We both loved it. She wanted a bigger portion for the lunch special but she still thought it was delicious. I would definitely order from here again. Glad I found it.

The first time I got the steak salad... It was fresh everything and steak was freshly grilled and tasty. It's like they cut every possible corner with my second order. Also I got about half the portion as previously, no lime juice, barely any fresh cilantro I am still hopefully but it was really disappointing.

fried calamari a bit weird. Fry rice awesome!

Really tasty and fresh! I will definitely order from here again. V impressed

Pretty good! Food arrived immediately and was pleasantly surprised with this new place. The Pad Thai is delicious. Beef is a little bit dry but still tasty. Love the Tom Yum Koong soup with shrimp. Nice and spicy but very flavorful.

Aroy Dee is hands-down the best Thai I've had in FIDI since the shuttering of Obao. I ordered the pad prik king, wok fried basil dish, papaya salad and tom yum soup, and each dish was bold, flavorful, and pleasingly spicy. Delivery was also lightning fast. In short, Aroy Dee does not disappoint--and I can't wait until my next meal.

Bug in my green curry. Spent twenty minutes "giving back" my dinner. Will NEVER order from here again.

A few tips for the chefs at Aroy Dee Thai Kitchen, take a little bit more time to prepare the food. Dont have summer rolls on your menu if you cant roll them. Clean the shrimp. First, remove the digestive track then the remove the tail.

I've always complained that there aren't many delivery options for Thai food in FiDi. I recently saw on Seanless that Aroy Dee Thai Kitchen had recently opened, and I thought I'd give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised and very happy with my order (Drunken Noodles). I just placed another order tonight (second order this week!), and I'm looking forward to it!

Loved everything about this food experience. I've ordered from here several times, every time both delivery and food were on point. Best Thai place in FiDi.

I wouldn't know how this place tasted because they never came. Their phone manners are pretty awful, though, so that might be telling. If Seamless didn't require a star, it'd probably get none.

Finally a great Thai restaurant in FiDi that is not overly sweet and uses fresh ingredients. Also enjoyed some of the Thai dishes commonly sold from carts on the street in Thailand. Highly recommended.
